MIL-S-15464B (NOTICE 1), MILITARY SPECIFICATION: STEEL ALLOY, CHROMIUM-MOLYBDENUM; CASTINGS (27 JAN 1989) [S/S BY MIL-C-24707/2, ASTM-A217 AND ASTM-A389]., Military Specification MIL-S-15464B(SHIPS), dated 15 June 1953, is hereby canceled. Future acquisition of these steel castings should be made under MIL-C-24707/2 Castings,for Pressure Containing Parts Suitable for HighTemperature Service, as follows:

【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestestmethodsandrequirementsforthestrengthanddurabilityofalltypesofextensionelementsandtheircomponentsforallfieldsofapplication,excepttableextensions.Thetestsconsistoftheapplicationofloads,forcesandvelocitiessimulatingnormalfunctionaluse,aswellasmisuse,thatmightreasonablybeexpectedtooccur.Withtheexceptionofthecorrosiontestin6.4,thetestsaredesignedtoevaluatepropertieswithoutregardtomaterials,design/constructionormanufacturingprocesses.Thestrengthanddurabilitytestsonlyrelatetotheextensionelementsandthepartsusedfortheattachment,e.g.screws.Thestrengthanddurabilitytestsarecarriedoutinatestframewithspecifiedproperties.Thetestresultscanonlybeusedasaguidetotheperformanceofapieceoffurniture.Thetestresultsareonlyvalidfortheextensionelementtested.Theseresultsmaybeusedtorepresenttheperformanceofproductionmodelsprovidedthatthetestedmodelisrepresentativeoftheproductionmodel.Ageingandinfluencesofheatandhumidityarenotincluded.
