本标准规定了用气相色谱法测定工业用乙苯纯度及其烃类杂质的含量。
本标准适用于测定纯度不小于99.0%(m/m)的乙苯，以及浓度为0.001% 一1.000% (m/m)的非芳烃、苯、甲苯、二甲苯、异丙苯和二乙苯等杂质。

【摘要】:Performingthisprocedurefromthispracticeshouldresultinaproperlyadjustedwalk-throughmetaldetectoroperatingatorneartheoptimumsensitivitysettingfortheenvironmentinwhichitisinstalled.Thispracticedeterminesthelowestsensitivitysettingrequiredtodetectaspecifiedtestobjectandestablishesasensitivitysettingsuitableformostoperationalneeds.Thispracticemaybeusedtoestablishaninitialsensitivitysettingforfollow-onproceduresthatdeterminecrediblevaluesforprobabilityofdetectionandconfidencelevel,asrequiredbyregulatoryauthorities.1.1Thispracticecoversaprocedureforadjustingtheoperationalsensitivityofin-plantwalk-throughmetaldetectors.Performanceofthisprocedureshouldresultwithin-plantwalk-throughmetaldetectorsbeingadjustedtoaninitialoperationalsensitivitysettingsuitableforperformancetesting.1.2Thispracticedoesnotsettestobjectspecificationsorspecifyspecifictestobjects.Theseshouldbespecifiedbytheregulatoryauthority.1.3ThispracticeusesinformationdevelopedbyPracticeC1270,oranequivalentprocedure,whichidentifiesthecriticaltestobject(fromaspecifiedsetoftestobjects),itscriticalorientation,andthecriticaltestpaththroughthedetectionzone.InthecaseofPracticeC1270,theinformationisfoundonthedetectionsensitivitymap(s)foreachin-plantwalk-throughmetaldetector.1.4Thispracticeisoneofseveraldevelopedtoassistoperatorsofnuclearfacilitieswithmeetingthemetaldetectionperformancerequirementsoftheregulatoryauthorities(seeAppendix).1.5Thisstandardpracticeisneitherintendedtosetperformancelevelsnorlimitorconstraintechnologies.1.6Thispracticedoesnotaddresssafetyoroperationalissuesassociatedwiththeuseofwalk-throughmetaldetectors.1.7ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandards.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.
