【摘要】:Thistestmethodevaluatesinashortperiodoftimethelow-voltage(upto600V)trackresistanceorcomparativetrackingindex(CTI)ofmaterialsinthepresenceofaqueouscontaminants.Thevaluesstatedinmetric(SI)unitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Theinch-poundequivalentsofthemetricunitsareapproximate.ThisstandardistechnicallyequivalenttotheversionofIECPublication112citedin.However,the2007versionofIEC60112FourthEditionyieldsnumericalCTIvaluesthatareverylikelytodiffersignificantlyfromthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
