【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstheminimumrequirementsforandmethodsofapplyinggypsumveneerplaster.1.2Whereaspecificdegreeoffireresistanceisrequiredforveneerplastersystems,applicablebuildingcoderegulationsshallbefollowed.1.2.1Detailsofconstructionforaspecificassemblytoachievetherequiredfireresistanceshallbeobtainedfromreportsoffire-resistancetests,engineeringevaluations,orlistingsfromrecognizedfiretestinglaboratories.1.3Whereaspecificdegreeofsoundcontrolisrequiredforveneerplasterassembliesandconstructions,detailsofconstructionshallbeincompliancewithofficialreportsoftestsconductedinrecognizedsoundtestinglaboratoriesinaccordancewiththeapplicablesoundtestsofTestMethodsE90,C423,orE492.Note1Toensuredesirableresults,coordinatethisspecificationwithSpecificationC844.Note2Generalinformationregardingmattersofacontractualnatureconcerningveneerplasterworkisfoundin.Additionaltechnicalinformationrelatedtoveneerplasteringisprovidedin.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.

【摘要】:Fabricsintendedforthisend-useshouldmeetalloftherequirementslistedinTable1.Itshouldberecognizedthatfabricscanbeproducedutilizinganalmostinfinitenumberofcombinationsofconstructionvariables(forexample,typeoffibers,percentageoffibers,yarntwist,yarnnumber,warpandpickcount,chemicalandmechanicalfinishes.)Additionally,fashionoraestheticsdictatethattheultimateconsumermayfindacceptablearticlesmadefromfabricsthatdonotconformtoalloftherequirementsinTable1.Hence,nosingleperformancespecificationcanpossiblyapplytoallthevariousfabricsthatcouldbeutilizedforthisend-use.Theusesandsignificanceofparticularpropertiesandtestmethodarediscussedintheappropriatesectionsofthespecifiedtestmethods.1.1Thisperformancespecificationcoverstheperformancerequirementsforknittedupholsteryfabricsasusedinthemanufactureofnewindoorfurnitureforgeneraldomesticuse.Theserequirementsapplytoboththewaleandcoursedirectionsforthosefactorswhereeachfabricdirectionispertinent.1.2Thisperformancespecificationisnotapplicabletofabricsusedincontract,porch,deck,orlawnfurniture;norforwovenfabrics,bondedorlaminatedfabrics,orsurface-coatedfabrics(suchasvinylsandurethanes).1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsdescribedinthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeNote2.
