【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60079-29givesguidanceon,andrecommendedpracticefor,theselection,installation,safeuseandmaintenanceofelectricallyoperatedgroupIIapparatusintendedforuseinindustrialandcommercialsafetyapplicationsforthedetectionandmeasurementofflammablegasescomplyingwiththerequirementsofIEC60079-29-1.Thisstandardisapplicableforoxygenmeasurementforthepurposeofinertisationwhereexplosionprotectionisprovidedbytheexclusionofoxygeninsteadofmeasuringthecombustiblegasesorvapourspresent.Thisstandardisacompilationofpracticalknowledgetoassisttheuser,andappliestoapparatus,instrumentsandsystemsthatindicatethepresenceofaflammableorpotentiallyexplosivemixtureofgasorvapourwithairbyusinganelectricalsignalfromagassensortoproduceameterreading,toactivateavisualoraudiblepre-setalarmorotherdevice,oranycombinationofthese.Suchapparatusmaybeusedasameansofreducingtheriskwheneverthereisthepossibilityofarisktolifeorpropertyspecificallyduetotheaccumulationofacombustiblegas-airmixture,byprovidingsuchwarnings.Itmayalsobeusedtoinitiatespecificsafetyprecautions(e.g.plantshutdown,evacuation,fireextinguishingprocedures).Thisstandardisapplicabletoallnewpermanentinstallationsand,wherereasonablypracticable,toexistingpermanentinstallations.Itisalsoapplicabletotemporaryinstallations,whetherneworexisting.Similarlyitisapplicabletothesafeuseofportableortransportableapparatus,irrespectiveoftheageorcomplexityofsuchapparatus.Sincemuchmodernapparatusofthistypealsoincludesoxygendeficiencydetectionand/orspecifictoxicgassensors,someadditionalguidanceisgivenforthesetopics.
