【摘要】:Theobjectiveofthisbookistopresentthefundamentalsofreliabilityanalysisappliedtotheplanninganddesignofindustrialandcommercialelectricpowerdistributionsystems.Theintendedaudienceforthismaterialisprimarilyconsultingengineersandplantelectricalengineersandtechnicians.Thedesignofreliableindustrialandcommercialpowerdistributionsystemsisimportantbecauseofthehighcostassociatedwithpoweroutages.Itisnecessarytoconsiderthecostofpoweroutageswhenmakingdesigndecisionsfornewpowerdistributionsystemsaswellastohavetheabilitytomakequantitative“cost-versus-reliability”trade-offstudies.Thelackofcredibledataconcerningequipmentreliabilityandthecostofpoweroutageshashinderedengineersinmakingsuchstudies.ThisrevisionofIEEEStd493?overcomestheseobstacles.
